Begin this special Valentine’s Adventure with a guided hike into the Park. This Valentine’s Day, the Birmingham Botanical Gardens wants to help bring you and your partner a whole lot closer to a love of chocolate. Learn about the plants that make it possible as well as its fascinating history of ritual, medicine and passion reaching back through the last 4,000 years into exotic lands and ancient cultures.
Afterward, you’ll grab your spoons for a hands on approach to learning the process of creating flavorful hot cocoa stirrers, piping with chocolate, and how to dip your favorite treats. Guests are invited to take their handmade treats home in a special Valentine box.

Bring playfulness into your yoga practice and relationships with Birmingham Yoga’s Partner Yoga event from 2-4 p.m., on Saturday, February 14th. Bring a friend or romantic partner and experience fun new ways to combine poses with one another. This special class incorporates poses accessible to all levels. Some of the class will be learning how to adjust your partner’s poses to offer them extra support or enhance their stretch, and part of the class will be focused on you and your partner in a combined pose.
