The Green Resource Center for Alabama (GRCA) is accepting submissions for the 2015 Green Progress Report and has extended the deadline until 6 p.m., Friday, December 11th.
The mission of this report is to feature the many important developments helping to make Alabama a greener place to live, work, and play. Contributors aim to share and promote a wide range of successes that demonstrate the many advances in green efforts and sustainable progress continuing all across the state.
The annual report is divided into nine categories: Parks, Trails and Recreation; Land Conservation and Preservation; Building and Design; Environmental Education; Transportation; Corporate Sustainability; Energy Efficiency; Sustainability Progress and Initiatives; and, Recycling and Cleanups.
The annual report is set to be released in early January of 2016.
The Green Resource Center for Alabama is an environmental nonprofit dedicated to educating and raising awareness for sustainability related efforts, projects, and initiatives in Alabama and throughout the Southeast.
